Abstract of the Disclosure A process is disclosed for preparing vinyl halide polymers and copolymers in which heat and light stabilizers are incorporated during the bulk process of polymerization. The stabilizers function to prevent discoloration of the polymers and copolymers, including graft copolymers during polymerization and the use of certain stabilizers results in a surprising increase in yield of the product of the polymerization process as compared to a vinyl halide polymer polymerized in the absence of stabilizers.
