A bulk lens such as of a shell shape or an egg shape, comprising a bulk lens body having a top part, a bottom part and an outer side part, and a well- shaped recess provided in the lens body from the bottom part toward the top part. A ceiling part of the recess functions as a first lens surface, the top part of the lens body functions as a second lens surface, and the interior of the recess functions as the housing section where a light source or a photodetector is housed.
L'invention concerne une lentille en masse ayant, par exemple, une forme de coquille ou ovoïde, constituée d'un corps de lentille en masse présentant une partie supérieure, une partie inférieure et une partie latérale extérieure, ainsi qu'un évidement de forme régulière, pratiqué dans le corps de lentille, allant de la partie inférieure à la partie supérieure. Une partie plafond de l'évidement fonctionne comme une première surface de lentille, la partie supérieure du corps de lentille fonctionnant comme une seconde surface de lentille. Enfin, l'intérieure de l'évidement fonctionne comme section logement où se loge une source lumineuse ou un photodétecteur.
