Buoyancy body, particularly a buoy, for mooring of fish farming and similar applications, with a buoyancy element (12, 22) enclosed by an attachment means ( 14, 15; 23), said attachment means being adapted to be linked to one or more chains or similar mooring means. The attachment means comprises one or more clamps (14, 15, 23) of a ribbon material e.g. steel. The clamps. when more than one is used, are arranged adjacent one another with a mutual distance or angle on the buoancy element. The clamps are arranged on the buoyancy element to be clamped to exert a compressive force against the surface of the element, particularly by using clamping bolts. Means are arranged to prevent sliding of the clamps on the element.
