A burglar-proof device for an automobile including a sensing system mounted on the steering wheel of the automobile to pick up the signal produced by external force applied to the automobile and output a signal to a comparator for determining whether to turn on an alarm, a ultra-high frequency signal emitting circuit for emitting the signal, a ultra-high frequency receiving circuit for receiving the signal, an encoder and a decoder for discrimination. The alarm may be connected with a high power amplifier for scaring the thief and a portable receiver may be used for receiving the signal.
