The invention relates to a method of combustion of a fuel using an oxygen containing gas and at least one mainly inert gas, in which: - the said oxygen containing gas comprises at least 80% of oxygen in volume, - the said fuel and the said oxygen containing gas are injected in such a way as to create a flame, - the said mainly inert gas is injected in such a way that it is contiguous to and surrounds the flame created by the said fuel and the said oxygen containing gas and that it has a divergent swirl with regard to the flame.
L'invention concerne un procédé de combustion d'un combustible utilisant un gaz contenant de l'oxygène et au moins un gaz essentiellement inerte. Selon le procédé : - ledit gaz contenant de l'oxygène comprend au moins 80% d'oxygène en volume, - ledit combustible et ledit gaz contenant de l'oxygène sont injectés de façon à créer une flamme, - ledit gaz essentiellement inerte est injecté de façon à être contigu à la flamme créée par ledit combustible et ledit gaz contenant de l'oxygène et à l'entourer, et de façon à présenter un tourbillon divergent par rapport à la flamme.
