Un brûleur pour réacteur de fabrication de gaz de synthèse permettant d'acheminer séparément dans une zone réactionnelle au moins deux fluides l'un servant de combustible et l'autre de comburant. Le brûleur comporte un élément massif dans lequel sont compris des trous pénétrant à des profondeurs différentes, ces trous débouchant à l'une de leurs extrémités dans le réacteur à l'autre soit dans des moyens d'alimentation en combustible soit dans des moyens d'alimentation en comburant selon le fluide acheminé par le trou considéré. L'invention trouve une application dans la fabrication de gaz de synthèse par le procédé d'oxydation partielle d'hydrocarbures.
