A packing as a porous body for burners, in particular for heating systems, is provided with a housing (1) having an inlet (4) for a gas/air mixture as a combustable gas mixture, a combustion chamber (7), an ignition device (9) in the combustion chamber (7) and an exhaust gas outlet (13). The combustion chamber (7) is at least partly filled with a three-dimensional ordered packing (8) of heat resistant ceramic material, foil material, or sheet metal material having continuous hollow cavities for the formation of a defined flame zone.

Cette invention concerne une cartouche à garnissage poreux pour brûleurs destinés en particulier à des systèmes de chauffage. La cartouche se présente sous la forme d'un corps (1) comportant une ouverture (4) d'admission d'un mélange combustible air-gaz, une chambre de combustion (7), un dispositif d'allumage (9) dans ladite chambre de combustion (7) et une ouverture (13) d'évacuation. La chambre de combustion (7) est au moins en partie remplie par un garnissage ordonné (8) en céramique réfractaire, en feuilles métalliques ou en tôles agencées pour constituer des passages continus définissant une zone de combustion précise.
