ABSTRACT. "IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO BURNERS FOR GAS APPLIANCES" The present specification discloses a burner for a gas fired appliance. The burner comprises a gas/air mix supply passage which connects with at least two burner passages, said passages being formed between two sections of sheet material which are secured together. Each burner passage ends in a burner port, said burner ports being spaced apart from each other and interconnected by an open groove, which is formed by spaced apart adjacent edge regions of said sections of sheet material. The gas/air mix supply passage formed by said sections of sheet material, at least partially defines a primary aeration port.
