ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The blade of a power-operated chain-saw is provided with a series of prongs longitudinally spaced along the blade and projecting beyond the saw-chain, only on one side of the latter. Each prong has a root portion, which is directed away from the chain-saw, to clear the teeth of the same and an outer end portion which is inclined in the opposite direction to extend beyond the plane of the blade, so as to form a bush stop which lies substantially in the cutting plane of the chain-saw.
