The invention relates to a bushing, and more particularly a suspension bushing, comprising at least: - a metal or plastic core (2); and - an elastomer body, which is fitted around the core and durably combined with it. The bushing according to the invention is characterized in that - in the elastomer body or in an additional polymer matrix (18), and more particularly an elastomer matrix, are embedded detectable material particles which act as a rotation angle transmitter (16) which in turn communicates with a rotational angle sensor (17), by which means angular changes within the bushing are detected and are produced as a signal for headlight level adjustment. More particularly, use is made of detectable material particles which enter into a durable bond with the core (2) and in so doing create magnetic fields with alternating poles (N, S) on the core (2), whereby angular changes within the bushing are detected from the number of poles. The material particles utilized are preferably bar magnets or magnetized ferrite particles.
