Difficulties with removing an identification card as part of a business form and/or costs concerns in making such business forms with readily removable cardsare avoided in a business form incorporating a removable identification card made by the steps of a) providing a base sheet (10) of a relatively destructible material such as paper and having an area (20) intended to be an identification card; b) adhering a laminate layer (30), (34) of relatively indestructible material to the base sheet (10) to cover the area (20) on at least the underside of the base sheet (10); c) placing a layer of adhesive (50), (52) on the laminate layer (34) and to the sides (40), (42), (44), (46) thereof to be on the base sheet (10) adjacent the laminate layer (34); d) adhering a liner layer (56) to the laminate layer (34) and the base sheet (10) with the layer of adhesive (50), (52) and e) placing a continuous, closed die cut (26) about the area with the die cut extending through the laminate layer (30), (34) and the base sheet (10) but not through the liner layer (56).
La présente invention permet d'éliminer les difficultés qui surviennent lorsqu'on désire détacher des cartes d'identification intégrées à des imprimés administratifs et/ou les préoccupations en matière de coûts inhérents à la fabrication d'imprimés avec cartes facilement amovibles. Les étapes de fabrication sont les suivantes : a) sélectionner une feuille de base (10) constituée d'un matériau relativement destructible, tel que du papier, présentant une section (20) réservée à la carte d'identification; b) coller une couche de laminé (30, 34) constitué d'un matériau relativement indestructible sur la feuille de base (10) pour couvrir la section (20) au moins du côté inférieur de la feuille de base (10); c) placer une couche d'adhésif (50, 52) sur la couche de laminé (34) et sur les côtés entourant celle-ci (40, 42, 44, 46) de manière à être en contact avec la feuille de base (10) autour de la couche de laminé (34); d) coller une couche de revêtement (56) sur la couche de laminé (34) et sur la feuille de base (10) à l'aide de la couche d'adhésif (50, 52); e) pratiquer une coupure continue fermée à la forme autour de la section, de sorte que la forme passe à travers la couche de laminé (30, 34) et la feuille de base (10), sans perforer la couche de revêtement (56).
