A method for making a labeled business form having a full length adhesive band covered by a release liner having a width substantially equal or greater than the width of the band of adhesive. Labels are die cut in the paper web, and the web-adhesive-liner composite is cut to define individual form sheets. The method may also include the step of neutralizing any adhesive extending beyond the edges of the release liner, as well as leaving gaps in the adhesive for various purposes, including formation of non-adhesive cards overlying the release liner and/or a non-adhesive edge on a side of the labels for easy removal from the form.

Méthode de préparation de formulaire commercial étiqueté comportant un ruban adhésif pleine longueur couvert d'une doublure enlevable dont la largeur est à peu près égale ou plus grande que la largeur du ruban adhésif. On obtient des étiquettes par découpage de la bande continue de papier et des feuilles particulières de formulaire par découpage de l'ensemble doublure-adhésif-bande continue. Cette méthode peut également comporter une étape consistant à neutraliser tout adhésif dépassant les bords de la doublure enlevable, et une étape consistant, pour diverses raisons, à laisser des lacunes dans l'adhésif, notamment pour qu'il soit possible de former des cartes sans adhésif par-dessus la doublure enlevable et/ou un bord sans adhésif sur le côté des étiquettes afin de pouvoir le retirer facilement du formulaire.
