ABSTRACT In a packaging machine for plastic comestibles, containers to be filled are delivered successively one at a time to a continuously driven conveyor which conveys the con- tainers from a dispensing station to a filling station and thence to a capping station. At the dispensing station a magazine stores a stack of inverted containers in nested relationship, the containers being gravity fed to a lower discharge end of a magazine compartment. Adjacent the lower discharge end the containers are positively located by con- tinuously driven worms, which release the containers one at a time to a pick-off position from which they are transferred by a rotary pick-off device and delivered to the conveyor in upright condition.
