A B S T R A C T O F T H E I N V E N T I O N A seat ring and a backup ring holding one side of the seat ring are set to a groove formed by a housing and a seat holding ring. The force given to the seat ring due to fluid pressure is protected by the backup ring for the gap between the seat ring and the backup ring at a certain point of the seat ring as the first step and protected by the housing for the gap between the backup ring and the housing at other point of the backup ring as the second step so that the seat ring will not extremely deform or damage.
