ABSTRACT A composition based on butyl rubber resins and filler particularly useful for hot melt application as a sealant for combining a plurality of glass panes in an insulating glazing unit in which improved workability in heated condition is secured without adversely affecting its other properties through inclusion of a minor amount of a thermoplastic block copolymer of polystyrene and polybutadiene or polystyrene and polyisoprene.
