BUTYL RUBBER/POLYPROPYLENE ELASTOPLASTIC Abstract of the Disclosure The present invention provides elastoplastic compositions which contain a butyl terpolymer and polypropylene. It has been surprisingly discovered that the use of a peroxide curing agent imparts an excellent balance of properties in the present elastoplastic compositions. The compositions exhibit a high melt flow index and a low compression set. Accordingly, the compositions are especially suitable for the production of rubber products via conventional molding techniques.
