Group B streptococcus polypeptides and polynucleotides encoding them are disclosed. Said polypeptides may be useful for the prophylaxis, diagnostic and/or therapy of streptococcal infection in mammals. Also disclosed are recombinant methods of producing the polypeptide antigens as well as diagnostic assays for detecting streptococcal infections, particularly GBS.
L'invention concerne des polypeptides du streptocoque du groupe B et des polynucléotides les codant. Lesdits polypeptides peuvent s'utiliser dans la prophylaxie, le diagnostic et/ou la thérapie d'infections à streptocoques chez les mammifères. L'invention concerne en outre des procédés recombinants permettant de produire des antigènes de polypeptide de même que des doses diagnostiques pour détecter des infections à streptocoques, notamment celles induites par le streptocoque du groupe B.
