The BX Cutting Guide can be used in many ways, here are examples of two. 1. In the Electrical Industry the BX cable is cut with an ordinary hacksaw at a very slow pace in appropriate lighting as not to damage the cable under the sheath. The damage to cable sometimes is unavoidable resulting in high cost due to destroyed cable and wasted labour. 2. By placing a stop guide over the hacksaw blade we may now achieve a safe cut in minimal light. 3. The stop guide is placed over a hacksaw blade and inserted in the hacksaw holes to match the saw lengths. 4. The guide may have its own handle with the ability to change blades easily. 5. Whether the user is using the hacksaw or the handle with blade, the guide does not inhibit the replacement of the blade. 6. The guide never wears out. Only the blade is replaced.
