The Computer Aided Repair device (C.A.R.)is an 'end-of-arm' multifaceted tool head attached to 5 and 6-axis existing or newly designed robotic equipment. It consists of an integrated 3-D camera vision recognition system comparing programmed data with 'as-is' data for a specific object. Based on these data corrective measures are taken by the device to restore imperfect or damaged surfaces and/or shapes to original condition. As a damage estimation tool customers, the trade as well as insrers will appreciate the unbiased and speedy operation of the device.
