ABSTRACT In the case of a freight container for air transport, a supporting frame is arranged upon a bottom panel, the frame comprising sections projecting from the bottom panel, with transverse sections connecting them and planks at least partly filling the supporting frame and fitted to webs in the sections, the latter being connected at nodal points, at least partly, by a gusset plate; in this case, the gusset plates (30) are flat and are held to webs (27) in the sections (12 to 16, 18) which lie flush with a section wall (29), extending it beyond a hollow section-like portion of the section.
