ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention is an aqueous anti-perspirant composition comprising from 2 to 30% by weight of an astringent aluminium or zirconium salt as anti- perspirant agent, from 30 to 80% by weight of ethanol, and from 0.1 to 6% by weight of one or more C14-18 fatty acids. By addition of the fatty acids relatively high levels of ethanol may be used to promote quick drying of the composition on the skin without detriment to the anti-perspirant effect which often occurs with high ethanol levels.
