A seal (30) includes first and second axially opposite loops (32, 34) integrally joined together by a coextensive web (36) in a collective ring having a circumferential split. The two loops are arcuate in section, with radially outer and inner sealing lands (40, 42, 44, 46). And the web (36) is disposed radially between the outer (40, 44) and inner (42, 46) lands. The loops (32, 34) are disposed in corresponding grooves of adjoining members (24, 26) for effecting a seal therebetween and accommodating differential radial and axial thermal movement.
Joint (30) comprenant une première et une deuxième boucles (32, 34) situées l'une en face de l'autre sur le même axe et réunies l'une à l'autre par une bande solidaire (36) co-extensible afin de constituer un anneau présentant une cassure périphérique. Ces deux boucles possèdent une partie incurvée pourvue de surfaces d'étanchéité radiales extérieures et intérieures (40, 42, 44, 46). La bande (36) est placée dans un sens radial entre les surfaces extérieures (40, 46) et intérieures (42, 46). Ces boucles (32, 34) sont disposées dans des gorges correspondantes d'éléments contigus (24, 26), ce qui crée une étanchéité entre lesdits éléments et absorbe les différences provoquées par un déplacement sous l'effet de la chaleur dans un sens radial et axial.
