IMPROVED C8ALKYL BENZENE ISOMERIZATION PROCESS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE At least one C8 alkyl benzene isomer is contacted in at least one reaction zone in the presence of added free molecular hydrogen with solid particles containing at least one crystalline alumino silicate to isomerize the isomer. As such contacting progresses, the amount of hydrogen added to the reaction zone is increased to maintain or increase the hydrogen to hydrocarbon mole ratio entering the reaction zone to improve the catalytic activity of the solid particles.
