The body cabinet of a television receiver is formed by a front cabinet, a rear cabinet and a substrate supporting bottom plate portion for supporting an internal circuit substrate section. In this construction, the materials of parts required to construct the television receiver are reduced. Further, the substrate supporting bottom plate portion is molded in resin by the same die as the front cabinet. Accordingly, the cost of a monitor is reduced and the monitor is made light in weight and working efficiency is improved.
