A cable mine roof bolt driver is disclosed for rotating a cable mine roof bolt in resin grouted applications. The bolt driver includes a body having a front face and a rear face. A cable receiving bore is positioned within the body extending into the body from the front face. The cable receiving bore is adapted to receive a cable of the cable mine roof bolt therein. A cable engaging device is provided within the cable receiving bore for rotatably engaging the cable such that rotation of the body will rotate the mine roof bolt when the cable engaging device has engaged the cable. A body rotation mechanism is coupled to the body for providing rotation of the body of the bolt driver. The cable mine roof bolt driver of the present invention can be utilized to rotate conventional cable mine roof bolts in resin grouted applications.
L'invention concerne un appareil d'entraînement d'un boulon-câble d'étançonnement de plafond de mine et servant particulièrement à le placer, en le faisant tourner, dans un coulis de résine. L'appareil d'entraînement de boulon-câble comprend un corps avec face avant et face arrière. Un forage de réception de câble est positionné à l'intérieur du corps et se prolonge à l'intérieur du corps à partir de la face avant. Le forage de réception de câble est adapté pour recevoir un boulon-câble d'étançonnement de plafond de mine. Un dispositif faisant prise sur le câble est prévu à l'intérieur du forage de réception du câble afin d'exercer une prise sur le câble et de lui imprimer un mouvement de rotation de sorte que la rotation du corps provoque la rotation du boulon-câble d'étançonnement du plafond de mine une fois que le dispositif de prise du câble a effectivement exercé une prise sur le câble. Un mécanisme de rotation du corps est accouplé au corps pour assurer la rotation du corps de l'appareil d'entraînement du boulon-câble. L'appareil d'entraînement du boulon-câble d'étançonnement de plafond de mine qui fait l'objet de la présente invention peut servir à faire tourner des boulons-câbles conventionnels d'étançonnement de plafond de mine dans des applications de coulis de résine.
