ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A connector is provided for a pair of cable ends. The connector includes a first tubular sleeve member adapted to be connected to another cable end. A second tubular sleeve member is adapted to be connected to another cable end. Each of the first and second tubular sleeve members include enlarged portions formed on one end thereof. Each of the first and second tubular sleeve members also has an interior surface which is rough. Each of the tubular sleeve members further has at least one threaded radial bore and a respective threaded set screw received in each threaded radial bore with one end thereof in engagement with a respective one of the cable ends. A connector body is provided, having a central bore and a counterbore therein. The connector body surrounds each enlarged portion, and abuts the first enlarged portion. A washer is disposed in the counterbore and abuts the second enlarged portion. Means hold the washer in the counterbore. Thus, a connector is provided for adjacent cable ends, which is reliable, inexpensive and simple to install.
