ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Cable correction circuits for correcting frequency distortion introduced by any non-pupinized cable, said circuit comprising means- for monitoring the signal received via a cable and producing a con- trol voltage which is applied to automatically control the gain of an amplifier stage to provide a constant signal level at all fre- quencies. Preferably the control is effected by a field effect transistor in series with a capacitor.
