A cable end seal for a multiple-conductor oil filled cable (10) includes an inner sealing boot (18) adjacent the cable and filled with an oil restraint material (24) for the temporary restraint of cable oil and an outer boot (28) and cylindrical mold (26) filled with hardenable material (38) for the permanent containment of the cable oil. The inner boot (18) and oil restraint material (24) prevents contact between the oil and the material (38) at least until the material (38) has hardened.
Un obturateur d'extrémité de câble à huile fluide (10) à conducteurs multiples comporte un manchon interne d'étanchéité (18) adjacent au câble et rempli d'un matériau retenant l'huile (24) pour la retenue temporaire de l'huile du câble et un manchon externe (28) ainsi qu'un moulage cylindrique (26) rempli d'un matériau durcissable (38) pour la retenue permanente de l'huile du câble. Le manchon interne (18) et le matériau de retenue (24) empêchent tout contact entre l'huile et le matériau (38) au moins jusqu'à ce que ce dernier (38) ait durci.
