Abstract of the Disclosure A cable manhole structure comprises a composite top part and a composite base part. In each of said parts, the parting lines extend into the surface in which the top and base parts contact each other. The parting line in the base part and in the top part extend in different parallel cross-sectional planes of the manhole structure and/or extend in different directions. The abutting surfaces of the adjacent sections are formed with grooves, which contain tubular struts for aligning. Adjacent sections of a part are connected by connecting means.
