The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cable, said cable comprising at least one transmissive element (3) and at least one coating layer (100) made of a polymeric material and arranged at a radially outer position with respect to the transmissive element (3). The method comprises the steps of: a) feeding the polymeric material to an extrusion apparatus including an extrusion head (1), the extrusion head (1) comprising: a male die (12); a female die (13), coaxially arranged with respect to said male die (12); a conveying channel (20), at least one portion of which being defined between said male die (12) and said female die (13); and b) controlling a cross-sectional area of said at least one portion of the conveying channel (20) in response to a detected quantity, said quantity being caused to vary during the manufacturing of the cable as a function of the actual extrusion speed. The present invention further relates to an extrusion apparatus for carrying out said process.
La présente invention concerne un procédé destiné à la fabrication d'un câble, ledit câble comprenant au moins un élément de transmission (3) et au moins une couche de revêtement (100) en matériau polymère disposée autour de l'élément de transmission (3). Ce procédé consiste : a) à introduire le matériau polymère dans un dispositif d'extrusion comprenant une tête d'extrusion (1) composée d'un moule mâle (12), d'un moule femelle (13), disposé de façon coaxiale par rapport au moule mâle (12), et d'un canal d'acheminement (20) dont au moins une partie est située entre le moule mâle (12) et le moule femelle (13) ; puis b) à contrôler une section transversale de ladite partie du canal d'acheminement (20) en réponse à une quantité détectée, ladite quantité étant modifiée durant la fabrication du câble en fonction de la vitesse d'extrusion réelle. La présente invention concerne également un dispositif d'extrusion destiné à la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé.
