A cable seal insert (7) for sealing a cable entry in a closure, comprising: (a) at least two plates (11, 12), each of which, at least in use, has extending therethrough at least one aperture (15) for a cable; and (b) sealing material (19) located between the plates (11, 12); wherein a peripheral surface (7b) of the seal insert (7) which is substantially parallel to the or each cable aperture (15) is substantially planar, and at least one of the plates is formed from non-elastomeric material.

L'invention a pour objet un insert d'étanchéité de câble destiné à assurer l'étanchéité d'un câble à son entrée dans un dispositif de fermeture, comprenant les éléments suivants: a) a u moins deux plaques (11, 12), chacune d'elles ayant, au moins en cours d'utilisation, au moins une ouverture (15) destinée à un câble; et b) un matériau d'étanchéité (19) situé entre les plaques (11, 12).
