A two-piece cable tie for bundling a plurality of objects, such as cables or wires, includes a front portion that is in-sert-molded onto a connective segment of a flexible strap, the front portion being constructed out of a higher tensile strength plas-tic than the strap to maximize the load rating of the tie without significantly increasing material costs. In one embodiment, the connective segment of the strap is shaped to include a pair of opposing semi- circular cutouts in its side rails to enhance the strength of mechanical bonding achieved by the front portion around the strap. In addition, the connective segment is shaped to include a circular hole that is offset longitudinally from the opposing cutouts, the diameter of the circular opening not exceeding 40% of the maximum width of the strap to ensure the integrity and strength of the strap along the entirety of its length.
La présente invention concerne une attache de câble composée de deux éléments qui sert à attacher une pluralité d'objets, tels des câbles ou des fils, et qui comprend une partie avant qui est moulée par insertion dans un segment raccord d'une sangle souple, la partie avant étant obtenue à partir d'un plastique présentant une résistance à la traction supérieure à celle de la sangle afin d'optimiser la capacité de charge de l'attache sans augmenter considérablement le coût des matériaux. Dans un mode de réalisation, le segment raccord de la sangle est formé de manière à inclure une paire d'entailles semi-circulaires sur ses côtés afin d'accroître la résistance de la liaison mécanique obtenue par la partie avant autour de la sangle. En outre, le segment raccord est formé de manière à inclure un orifice circulaire qui est longitudinalement décalé par rapport aux entailles opposées, le diamètre de l'ouverture circulaire ne dépassant pas 40 % de la largeur maximale de la sangle afin de garantir l'intégrité et la résistance de la sangle sur toute sa longueur.
