Flexible plastic locking cable ties (or electrical zip ties), used for bundling cables together are utilized in this invention to manufacture pillow slipcovers for cylindrical foam pillows. The slipcover is a rectangular fabric piece with casings sewn at both ends. One of the long edges perpendicular to the casings has a serger-stitched edge. A cable tie is threaded through each casing. One end of the cable tie is threaded through the other end (which has a locking eyelet), and is pulled tight, permanently locking it into place, forming a small circle completely encased by gathered fabric. This leaves a lengthwise opening running the length of the slipcover. The gathered ends are placed on each flat end of the cylindrical foam core. The serger-stitched edge is pulled over and generously overlaps the other edge below, creating a snug, form-fitting, removable slipcover on foam which naturally resists fabric slippage.
