A marine electromagnetic survey cable includes a reference electrode extending substantially along the entire length of the cable. A plurality of spaced apart measuring electrodes is disposed along the cable and each is electrically insulated from the reference electrode. A voltage measuring is circuit functionally coupled between each measuring electrode and the reference electrode.

L'invention concerne un câble de surveillance électromagnétique marine qui comporte une électrode de référence s'étendant sensiblement le long de la longueur entière du câble. Plusieurs électrodes de mesure espacées entre elles sont disposées le long du câble, chaque électrode étant électriquement isolée de l'électrode de référence. Un circuit de mesure de tension est couplé de façon fonctionnelle entre chaque électrode de mesure et l'électrode de référence.
