ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a traction sleeve for use in a tire-chain. The sleeve comprises a body portion having an outer surface in the form of a right cylinder and at least one end portion having an outer surface flared outwardly from the outer surface of the body portion. The end portion defines a notch providing sharp corners on one end of the sleeve.
