A feeding chamber is reached by an ascending ramp and an entrance passage wherein said entrance passage leads from said ramp to said feeding chamber, the top of said feeding chamber being defined by a first grid through which feed descends into said feeding chamber and the floor of said feeding chamber being defined by a second grid which allows food to fall from within said feeding chamber into a spillage chamber.
