The invention concerns a method for obtaining fibres integral with calcium carbonate particles which consists in contacting the fibres to be treated with carbon dioxide generators and with at least a composition containing Ca<++> ions capable of reacting with the carbon dioxide so as to obtain "in fine" a calcium carbonate precipitate "in situ" on the fibres. Preferably, calcium bicarbonate is used as carbon dioxide generator. The invention also concerns a method for eliminating calcium carbonate from other insoluble substances contained in various aqueous media, and derived in particular from papers to be recycled, and de-inking sludge which consists in injecting CO2 in the medium to be treated, solubilizing the calcium carbonate into calcium bicarbonate, separating the calcium bicarbonate formed by filtering the medium after reaction.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour l'obtention de fibres solidaires de particules de carbonate de calcium dans lequel les fibres à traiter sont mises au contact de moyens générateurs de gaz carbonique et d'au moins une composition contenant des ions Ca++ pouvant réagir avec le gaz carbonique de manière à obtenir "in fine" une précipitation de carbonate de calcium "in situ" sur les fibres. De préférence, on utilise le bicarbonate de calcium comme générateur de gaz carbonique. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'élimination du carbonate de calcium des autres insolubles contenus dans différents milieux aqueux, et provenant notamment des papiers à recycler, et des boues de désencrage dans lequel on injecte du CO2 dans le milieu à traiter, on solubilise le carbonate de calcium en bicarbonate de calcium, on sépare le bicarbonate de calcium formé par filtration du milieu après réaction.
