The present invention is generally directed to an oral composition comprising a calcium phosphate salt and a combination of acids having differing solubilities in the oral cavity, for tooth mineralization or remineralization. The presence of a combination of acids in the oral composition acts to maximize the release of calcium and phosphate ions from the oral composition over an extended period of time, in order to promote the precipitation of enamel-like crystals on the surfaces of the teeth, or in subsurface regions therein
L'invention concerne d'une manière générale une composition orale comprenant un sel de phosphate de calcium et une combinaison d'acides présentant des solubilités différentes dans la cavité bucale, aux fins de la minéralisation ou de la reminéralisation des dents. La présence d'une combinaison d'acides dans la composition orale agit de façon à maximiser la libération des ions de calcium et de phosphate de la composition orale sur une période prolongée, le but étant de favoriser la précipitation de cristaux de type émail sur les surfaces dentaires, ou dans les sous-surfaces de celles-ci.
