In a multi-service wireless, or wired, integrated services digital network having an analog loop driven by an analog loop adapter, the type-of-call information (i.e., voice, data, or fax) in a call setup message is used at the analog loop adapter to generate a call-type signal. A switch is interposed between the analog loop and each piece of terminal equipment on the loop. Each switch responds to the call-type signal to adjust the switch setting so that terminal equipment attached to the switch which does not match the call-type does not receive the ensuing ringing signal.
Dans un réseau numérique à intégration de services sans fil ou câblé comportant une boucle analogique attaquée par un adaptateur de boucle analogique, l'information sur le type de l'appel (c.-à-d. communication vocale, données ou télécopie) incorporée au message d'établissement de la communication est utilisée dans cet adaptateur pour produire le signal de type d'appel. Un commutateur est interposé entre la boucle analogique et chaque pièce de matériel terminal montée sur elle. Chaque commutateur répond au signal de type d'appel en s'ajustant de telle façon que tout matériel terminal connecté à lui qui ne correspond pas au type de l'appel ne reçoit pas le signal de sonnerie connexe.
