ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The use of calmodulin binding drugs as vaginal con- traceptives and for prevention of pregnancy is disclosed. The invention may be implemented as a contraceptive by incorporating an effective calmodulin binding drug in a known method such as jelly, foam, or suppository introduc- tion means prior to intercourse. Furthermore, the use of calmodulin binding drugs in the uterus after intercourse to prevent pregnancy is disclosed.
