ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A timer having a motor driven cam programmer and wherein a housing carrying the cam programmer includes surrounding walls and end plates cooperating with the surrounding walls, and a cover engaging the walls. At least one combination electrical terminal and electrical contact blade including a pair of legs are provided with at least a portion of which are in a side-by-side relationship. At least one slot is provided in at least one wall of the surrounding walls and a cavity is provided in the wall opening to the slot. A jack is provided in one of the legs extending into the slot and receives an electrical lead. A groove is provided in the cover and disposed in a direction substantially normal to an axial length of the electrical contact blade and receives the electrical lead. An aperture is provided in the housing remote from the jack through which the electrical lead extends.
