A clamp for clamping a workpiece comprises a body member (2) including a bore (15) having a longitudinal axis, a plunger (3) mounted in the bore for sliding movement relative to the body member (2) and a handle (4) pivotally mounted on the body member and operable to drive the plunger (3) in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The body member (2) is mounted on a bracket (1) for rotation relative thereto about the longitudinal axis.
