An opening device of plastics material, which is suitable for closing and re-closing of a metal can end, for example. The opening device has two distinct parts: a base plate (10) and a tab (1), which are joined together by an integral rivet (14, 15). The opening device is used to close an aperture in the metal panel of a can end by fitting the base plate to the underside of the panel and connecting this to the tab on the top of the panel. A sliding action by pulling or retaining the tab actuates movement of the base plate for opening and reclosing of the closure panel.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'ouverture de matériaux plastiques, adapté à l'ouverture et à la refermeture d'un couvercle de canette métallique, par exemple. Le dispositif d'ouverture possède deux parties distinctes : une plaque de base (10) et une languette (1) reliées ensemble par l'intermédiaire d'un rivet intégré (14, 15). Le dispositif d'ouverture est utilisé pour obturer un orifice pratiqué dans le panneau métallique d'un couvercle de canette en ajustant la plaque de base sur la face inférieure du panneau et en reliant celle-ci à la languette sur le dessus du panneau. Une action de glissement réalisée en tirant ou en retenant la languette a pour effet de mettre en mouvement la plaque de base afin d'ouvrir et de refermer le panneau d'obturation.
