The present invention provides novel, isolated, tumor-associated antigens, and methods for identifying such antigens in a biological sample, and of screening for the presence of such an antigen in a biological specimen, wherein the tumor antigen identified reacts with serum from a subject treated with a vaccine comprising a cytokine and proliferation-incompetent tumor cells which express the tumor-associated antigen. Also provided are kits for carrying out the methods of the invention.

La présente invention concerne de nouveaux antigènes isolés associés au cancer et des procédés pour identifier ces antigènes dans un échantillon biologique ainsi que des procédés de criblage permettant d'identifier la présence des antigènes de ce type dans un spécimen biologique. L'antigène tumoral identifié réagit avec le sérum pris chez un sujet traité avec un vaccin comprenant un cytokine et des cellules tumorales incapables de prolifération qui expriment l'antigène associé à la tumeur. L'invention concerne aussi des kits permettant de mettre en oeuvre les procédés de l'invention.
