A candle holding system is disclosed. The system comprises a candle hving an internally threaded T-nut in its base and a platform having a threaded projection. The candle threads onto the platform. The candle is self extinguishing as the wick is attached to the top end of the T-nut by a metallic epoxy glue, which does not wick wax.
