The invention also provides canine factor VIII polypeptides encoded by such isolated nucleic acid molecules, antibodies binding to such polypeptides, genetic constructs comprising such nucleic acid molecules, prokaryotic or eukaryotic host cells comprising such genetic constructs, and methods and compositions for use in diagnosing and treating canine disorders characterized by factor VIII deficiency.
