According to a first aspect of the invention we provide a canopy for attachment to an item of furniture, the canopy including a first arm, the first arm being provided with a first component of a fastener system at or towards one end, the first arm being provided with a joint at or towards the other end, the joint being connected to a second arm, the joint allowing the orientation of the first arm to the second arm to be varied, the second arm being provided with a second joint, the second joint being connected to a further arm, one or more of the arms supporting one or more screens.
