ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A cap for a razor blade assembly is adapted to retain a strip-like shaving aid, such as a skin lubricant, without using an adhesive. A top surface of the cap has structure defining a pocket that retains the shaving aid. The retaining structure includes a deformable rear projection bent to overlay one side of the strip-like shaving aid and one or more forward projections bent to overlay an opposing side.
