Disclosed is a method associated with servicing a valve (100; 200; 300), including: (i) permitting solidification of a molten molding material to weld the valve (100; 200; 300) to a barrel (1204), (ii) maintaining a remainder of the molten molding material within the barrel (1204) in a non-solid state, (iii) removing a barrel head (1228) from the barrel (1204) once the barrel (1204) is sealed airtight so that the molten molding material in the barrel (1204) is not exposed to air, (iv) installing a cap (1220) to the barrel (1204), (v) heating up a distal end of the barrel (1204), and in response solidified material located proximate to the valve (100; 200; 300) is returned to a molten state, (vi) translating the screw (1202) forwardly so that the valve (100; 200; 300) Is pushed into the cap (1220), (vii) permitting the solidification of the molten molding material to seal off the barrel (1204), (viii) servicing the valve (100; 200; 300), (ix) heating the distal end of the barrel (1204), and in response solidified melt located in the distal end of the barrel (1204) is re-melted, and (x) retracting the screw (1202), and in response, the valve (100; 200; 300) is pulled within the barrel (1204).
