ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A cap-shaped cover for hollow-charged mines which, in its starting position, is folded, compressed, recessed or the like and in its operative position, is extended, in the shape of a bowl, sphere or the like, by means of a compression-spring, and which comprises at least one venting device. The compression-spring consists of at least two separate identical parts arranged in the cover in such a manner that the said spring is symmetrical in all vertical cutting planes. The pitch of the central coil-section of each individual part of the said compres- sion spring amounts, at least in the area adjacent the outer coil-section, to between 15 and 45°. The inner coil- section of the said spring is preferably held in a circum- ferential groove in the cover.
